Honorary Fatherhood

It was a bit of a shock for me to discover that one of the great geniuses of children's literature never fathered any of his own. When asked, Theodor Geisel would say: "You have 'em; I'll entertain 'em."

I'm guessing however that Dr Seuss was probably the favorite "uncle" of any child that crossed his path. After reading his story, and realizing there would be several posts worth of material, I'm going to do two things and save the rest for later.
  1. Dad U hereby posthumously awards Dr Seuss honorary fatherhood (in my book at least)
  2. Present for your records the full list of his children's books (care of Short Story Time). I have only read a handful of them with my kids, how many have you managed?
